Think less of the fact that heโs browsing the web on the date and more of the fact that itโs 4chan in specific. Is that a red flag, or am I overly sheltered about it?
4chan has a lot of boards for different subjects and interests, similar to how reddit has various subreddits for different subjects and interests.
You do get the toxic boards like /b/ and /pol/, of course. But a lot of the other boards are just people super into certain hobbies.
That is to say, I don't necessarily think it's an immediate red flag if they are using the website. I think a good idea is to talk to them about it and how they engage with it so as to get a better understanding.
My two cents, anyway.
(Also I think browsing any websites on your phone during a date regardless is pretty rude)
