Am I being paranoid about my IUD?

I had the Kyleena inserted back in November. I experienced light spotting until January, and from then until recently I haven’t gotten my period, not even symptoms.

However, about a week ago I did finally get it — the bleeding was pretty heavy and the cramps were intense. Not alarmingly “this-isn’t-normal” bad but they were pretty painful. Since then, I’ve been overthinking whether the cramps could have displaced the IUD.

The strings seem to be in place and I’m not experiencing any pain now. I guess I just need some reassurance that everything’s okay! And is it normal to lose your period and then get it again really intensely after 8 months? Will I (hopefully) lose it again?
