So I had a guy over yesterday and it was agreed on to use condoms. I showed him where the box was, and he even took one out. I didn’t notice at first that he slipped it in without a condom. Once I did realize though I froze once again like a fucking idiot…I just went along with it because I don’t trust a man to not do something worse if they already violated a condition of consent. He admitted to it in a text. Should I even bother reporting it? I feel like police don’t fucking care, most of them are abusers and awful themselves. Do I just keep him blocked and call it a day? Also, is PEP expensive to get with insurance? I don’t think he had HIV but you never know.

Edit: I have a sexual assault advocate calling me this morning to talk about everything and what my options are. Also, I live in Ohio so I’m unsure if this counts as assault.

Second edit: I’m leaving work early to go get a rape kit done and bringing a towel and the clothes I wore. I’m waiting to hear back about everything.

Third and final edit for now: I went to the hospital with the advocate and got everything done, including testing. I now have to decide if I’ll talk to the police or not. Thankfully all my meds cost me less than 15 bucks with my insurance. Thank you to everyone who has been kind or offered advice. This has been a rough day…to say the least.
