About once every few months I think about dating and then meet several dozen awful human beings (there are some that are okay just not compatible) but mostly awful human beings.

The denialism of patriarchy is basically 99%.

The not reading my profile saying that I am looking for a long term relationship is about 90%.

The telling me that THIS platform (whichever platform I use) is not suitable for dating happens about...90% as well.

The defensiveness around basic things like eating vegetables and washing hands with soap are actual repeated conversations I have had with grown men in their 20s and 30s is insane.

It hurts me.

My dream was just to have a permaculture garden and do sports with a healthful guy who doesn't smoke, drink, feel macho about mistreating his body or mine, understand the patriarchy, washes hands with soap....

But I guess since 85% don't wash hands with soap that's another limiting factor.

I dunno. I feel really sad.
