I haven't been on a physical date with a person since SA in Srptember 2021. Yesterday I went on one and my requirement was that the guy wash his hands before non sexual cuddles after using the bathroom. He said he always uses soap and that he doesn't understand people who don't use soap.five minutes later I find out he did not use soap. I found out because there was no soap smell on his hands but we used the same bathroom.

At the time I waited for him to do this but today I just feel sad. Like...why would you lie about washing hands with soap? After I caught him he was like but I scrubbed my hands together so I don't need soap. I'm not his mother. He isn't 5. He both lied about doing it always and about doing it this particular time and then tried to explain his way out. He works in the food industry too so that's gross on a totally different level if he's doing this at work.

I quite cautiously neutral liked him up to that point (we met before and chatted for two weeks before meeting again and had a number of supposed shared values which i now question) but now the hormones have faded and it makes me depressed.

I'm not looking for a second date with him. I just...feel sad.
