Students idle but tired
Post Body

Playing Blundergrad this morning and on summer break I like to let my students and teachers needs rise back up. I’m looking and found several students that are Idle in student lounges, just standing around but their tired meter is empty. Yet they are not seeking a bed despite just being Idle. Eventually they seek out a bed but it would be really helpful if we could pick up students and move them to dorms or other areas of need.

Separate issue, but yesterday I had to expel two students because they got stuck, essentially couldn’t move. I expelled them from the panic room where it happened but their needs and happiness kept going down standing in the same spot. I found them later still crying which made me glad I expelled them so they didn’t pull down my averages. 😂

Update: There are more than enough beds for students so that’s not the issue. Closing Student Unions and Lounges helps, but many students still roam the campus as Idle when their needs bar is empty or almost empty. Closing a dorm and reopening it, reshuffles students similar to placing a new dorm, and seems to really help get folks to sleep or go to their new dorm.

I also found it was majority Orb student group students that it was happening to. I removed the recruitment for that group and the items. See if it improves.
