Edit #2: i don’t care what you all think of my relationship, that’s not what the post is about. We did not have sex until I was legal age of consent. Which was only literally 2 weeks after we started “dating” my husband is NOT a predator. I do not care if you believe me lol. Y’all are taking my post and turning it around.

Edit: I also dropped out of my step-sisters wedding for this same reason.

I (F19) and my husband (M22) have been together for almost 4 years, and married for a year. We had our first baby girl in September of 2022. My dads family as never liked my husband so it was already awkward to be around them, but Around March of 2023, we went to a party and let my dad and step mom have my baby for a little while. I stepped out of the room and they started feeding her cake and SODA. She was 6 months old.. we were not going to feed her cake until her first birthday just to have that initial reaction to the smash cake. I told them that and all I get is “well I’m sorry” in a sarcastic tone and they continued to do it. We got up and left.

So her birthday is 3 months away and i do not plan to invite them.

Am i the asshole?
