With Woolie being in the top 300 of Teppen players and the fact that franchises that have been covered by the guys over the years all seem to have at least one phone game of their own, it's made me wonder what's actually worth trying out?
I've been playing King of Fighters Allstar since last weekend. I like KOF, I like beat em ups and I like the "gotta catch 'em all" aspect of collecting the fighters. This is pretty much the first phone game I've played since the pre-smartphone Snake days.
It's perfect for when you want to listen to music, a podcast or shows/movies/youtube but the shine has kinda worn off at this point. I gather this is usual for a hero collector/gacha game. I've played it a lot but it's served it's purpose well and I can see myself going back to it.
Here's my list of stuff I plan on trying so far:
Teppen
Dragon ball Legends
Fist of the North Star
Shin Megami Tensei: Liberation Dx2
Castlevania: Grimoire of Souls
Anything else I should check out?
EDIT: I'd like to keep the creepy anime bullshit down to a minimum, no chibi artstyles and no tower defense either.
Also, since I'm trying these out on an android emulator I was wondering how it works when the app asks you for access/permission to your "phones" storage, media and files? If I say yes can it actually access my computer?
