Writers, what software do you use to type?

Im using LibreOffice at the moment and its nice and all, but very very finicky.
Im also trying to find a software that has a dark-mode feature, so that I can work in the dark more easily without having to blind myself with a pure white screen.
Also, for those concerned about their screen burning their eyes out of their heads, I use f.lux to automatically tint my screen at certain times throughout the day so it’s not brighter than staring into the sun. Very useful.
