Post Body

In the Conan story beyond the black river a shaman tries to kill Conan by sending panthers and other big cats to trail and kill the barbarian.

Luckily Conan being a barbarian means he knows about primeval beliefs and having travelled a lot he learned a warding sign that nullifies the shaman's orders on the beasts. That was such a crazy moment for me because Conan doesn't do magic but to someone as wild as him tha might as well be just a survival tips he learned like if someone told him how to hide the food from bears.

It lead to a demon wanting him dead for blasphemy so the story also provide why he rather just slash stuff instead of toying with magic symbols in other stories
