Are you guys renting cars, taking Ubers or using public transit?

I'm debating whether or not I need to rent a car or not for Twitchcon. It'll cost me around $200, but I fear that I may just end up spending most of my time at the heart of San Diego anyways, meaning I might not need a rental car and I can just take the bus to get to my hotel from the airport.

I actually really wanted to go to La Jolla Shores on Thursday (Badge Pick-Up Day) to go surfing for the first time, but would probably stay in the heart of San Diego on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Just curious. What are your plans for method of transportation around San Diego?

Was also just thinking of renting and riding a bike everywhere, which sounds fun too.
