Do you have to lose affiliation and reapply every time you move??

Hi all, I've recently moved and when I tried to change my address it wouldn't let me. Then when I googled it says the only way to change the address is to lose your current affiliate status and apply again. Do we really have to do that every time we move??

Thankfully my payment is with PayPal so I don't have to worry about checks. However would having my old address on the agreement affect me when I try to file taxes?

I'm a US citizen living in South Korea if that helps. both addresses are Korean addresses.
