Has anyone made a Follow button / link?

I've done some basic research into this and it seems like I may need my own server setup with a redirect link. Basic setup would be:
User clicks link. Link goes to server. Server runs follow code using Twitch API.
I keep feeling like something like that probably already exists though and I'm just not finding it... Any tips or links?
