Streaming at high bit rates (6000) still not viable for non partners?

Post Body

Hi guys,

I'm just trying out streaming to have a bit of fun, and I managed to stream fine on YouTube at 10000 bit rate using NVENC, and I verified my stream was working on my phone using a separate internet connection. It was running fine at 1080p 60FPS no cut outs or anything.

However on Twitch I noticed the max bit rate was around 6k, so at first I set it at that, however when I tested the stream on my phone it would always freeze after around 10-15 seconds. On my laptop however using the same connection as the stream it was fine.

So I reduced my bit rate to 3500 and I had no problems watching it on my phone, it didn't cut off or anything. However the quality of the image is pretty terrible, even when I go down to 720p.

As I play CS:GO quite a lot I need a higher FPS otherwise you cant follow the action properly so haven't tried 30fps.

Today I tried upping the bit rate to 5500 however now on my phone the stream says 'error' whenever I load onto it, however on my laptop it's fine...

What's going on? Can anyone help?
