Normal cpu usage (OBS)?

What's considered 'normal' cpu usage while streaming? I've noticed most seem to be using an i7, but I have an i5 4690k and I'll notice most games hover around 30-40% cpu, OBS around 30% cpu, and then various other programs taking up the remainder, pushing total cpu usage near 80% -- I'm assuming this is normal but curious what others suggest? I'm only running 720p / 2500 bitrate / 30fps
