Hey friends, I'm making the switch from XSpit to OBS and I started noticing that my stream buffers every five to ten seconds. I initially assumed I just had set up my OBS settings poorly (which may still be the case...), but after looking around this sub I've found that this is apparently because Twitch allocates their bandwidth to streamers that are partnered and profitable.
So isn't this an ouroboros situation? Twitch won't give me bandwidth because I'm just starting out without many viewers, and no viewers will stick around because I'm not getting enough bandwidth. Is there a way around this, or is it just a reality of the platform?
