Certain party members cause echo

I have this issue when certain friends hop on the party and it causes an echo. When those certain friends aren’t on audio sounds great. Once they hop on I know it’s about to get echo-y.
What could it be that’s causing this? Is it as simple as that friend has their headset playing too loud or mic too sensitive and it’s picking everything up twice?
