I originally used the BEACN Mic, it was great, until some software issues started with the BEACN app, and now all it does is crackle and pop when I have the mic AND the BEACN mixer plugged in. I scrapped it, and am not going to use a BEACN product anymore.
I am currently using the HyperX QuadCast2 and honestly, it doesn't sound good at all to me. It could be because I was used to a more professional sounding microphone for so long, but it just sounds jagged, peaky and just bad. It's great for beginners but I just don't want to keep using it.
I am looking at these options:
RODE Podmic
Shure SM7B
Samson Q9U
along with one of these interfaces:
GoXLR Mini
FIFINE Audio Interface
Wave XLR
Just want to know what setup and style you guys use and what makes a good audio. Again, the current mic is good until I go to the store lol. Just curious on what your thoughts are
