Does Twitch already saves clips if you accidentally hit the clip button?

I need some help clearing up some confusion. I just had the weirdest experience. Since i started watching twitch streamers for the last 4 years, i have the concious memory of just creating 3 clips over the entire period. So far i saved the links in a text file for safekeeping.

Only now, just 15 minutes ago i asked myself if there is a place where twitch saves them. Opening the Clip-Manager i see now over 20 clips that i am supposed to have created. They all bear the original video title from which they originated, besides the 3 i know i have created.

How did they got there? And why have some of them 50 views, can automatically everyone else see my clips (i was just now asked on that page if everyone can see and share them)
