Has anyone heard/signed with "Channel Broadcaster" for their Twitch? Scam or Real??
Post Body

Hello everyone,

I'm very new to this and I am also quite paranoid, so I wanted to check if anyone has had thos experience and can tell me what in the world is going on?

Recently, a person who appears to be a bigger streamer has reached out (not through Twitch, but discord) to befriend me out of no where. They seemed legit, but now I'm a bit unsure with this new information.

Skipping the little details, they seemed to be trying to push something called "Channel Broadcaster" on me, saying it is a 'special agency' that can help with my twitch growth?

They said, and I quote: "Channel Broadcater are special agency that helps content creators and streamers like us to improve engagement and boost our presence on the content creating platform through growth strategy and support, meant more interest led audiences and also get into more amazing community."

And if they didn't give me enough red flags, when I asked if they had an official web page, the person said yes and they took a very long time to get one to me (after I had to ask directly for it a 2nd time mind you).

When they gave me the link, I dare NOT click it in fear of what could happen, but I tried to google it and low and behold, nothing showed up.

For anyone who this has happened to, the link they suddenly gave me was sites.google.com /view /webwhiz-company and it said "your track to success" with so weird logo that was a mixture of greens and blues. (So naturally I google webwiz company and nothing popped for anything official)

If anyone needs screenshots, I can provide them. I just really want to know what is going on?

Am I being overly paranoid and this is actually something legit or is my intention correct?

If I'm right, do I need to take actions against this person. If so, my apologies, but how do I go about doing so properly so no one else has to deal with this?

I do apologize if I'm all over this place, but again, I'm new to all of this and only just recently got my affiliate status. So I'm probably trying to be EXTRA careful.

Thank you to everyone who can assist me!
