Receive Channel Points without providing personal information to Twitch?

I've heard that, in order to become an Affiliate, you need to provide a lot of personal and tax information to Twitch so you can earn money.
What I haven't been able to find is if you can get the Channel Points without having to provide that sensitive information. Is there a way to get Channel Points without entering SSN and other tax information, or is that information required even if I don't intend to make any money?
