I've been getting into doing bookbinding on stream and I've been looking for guidance on building a stream in the Makers & Crafting category. Unfortunately, 90% of the guidance out there is about growing a gaming channel (which makes sense, 90% of streamers are gamers according to the statistic I pulled out of my rear end!)

So I thought it might be helpful to make a post to summon the Makers & Crafters to share guidance and help each other out! What are some resources that you've found helpful in growing as a streamer in this category?

Obviously the basics still apply: be active on other socials and share your work. I find people get interested in the process when they see the finished product! I also think people are drawn to watch this category because they're makers themselves and enjoy watching the process, even of things they themselves don't do, so it makes for a really interesting chat!
