So here's a specific situation. I'm planning to live stream my journey to different cities in many countries. I will also occasionally strike up some random conversations with people on the street or other tourists. My iPhone will be mounted on my chest. The real problem is that when I did a test run, my own voice recorded loud(since my mouth was very close to my chest) while other people's voices were recorded very quietly(since their mouths are at least 4-5 feet from my chest.

I know that some of you will say buy separate detached mics and give one to the other person and keep one to myself. But I don't want to do that because the point of this live stream is having a random spontaneous conversations with strangers instead of going "okay here's your mic and here's my mic and we'll do an official live cast". Any tip would be appreciated.
