HELP! VIL IS TOO HARD!

I know I'm saying that after hearing what's to come, but that's besides the point. I'm stuck on finishing Chapter 5 because I think Vil found out I hate him so his OB form is spiting me. What cards did you guys use to defeat this man. What levels? What power levels? I'm looking for anything at this point.
Update: thank you for lending me your supports! I finally beat Vil's ass!
