I can't believe I never posted this question yet, especially because TWST has so many fantastic card stories from each of the characters (even characters that I don't exactly stan). Unfortunately, this post has to be spoiled due to the fact that not everyone has the cards to the vignettes I'm referencing. However, the question still stands: What are your favorite vignette stories? List as many stories as you want and why you love them so much?

As for me...

The top of the crop for me is Jack's Ceremony Robes story. Obviously, I'm going to put this out on the table now, but part 2s of these SR stories are always going to be the best. It makes sense that way. The way he exposes Ace to his cheating ways and impressing Riddle with his detective skills really shows what kind of character Jack is. Also, the ending where Riddle suggests that they talk more while Ace ends up doing their laundry is one of the smuggest moments I've ever seen, and it's perfect.

I don't like Leona, but his Ceremony Robe story cracks me up every single time. The moment he puts on Malleus's robes and Ruggie starts cracking up kills me. "RUGGIE, THIS IS NOT FUNNY!" "Hate to break to ya, but you look cute with your ears sticking out like that."

Speaking of Malleus, his Ceremony Robe story is a continuation of the Leona one, and Malleus is just hilarious in this. "All of you are making this situation more difficult than it has to be." Then, his comebacks to Leona when Leona's trying to make fun of him just are fantastic. Malleus don't a flying fuck.

I also love his dorm uniform story. Part 3 when you get to see the groovied version of the card is super cool. Also, leave it to Ruggie to keep Leona from getting expelled. "The sophomores already passed out from terror!" "They did? Aw, I didn't even get to the best part!" His protectiveness of Jack was charming enough (even if it's in a backhanded compliment.) (I would also argue that Jack did nothing wrong. The others were being asshats.)

Ok, one more Leona. His gym card is one of the best normal ranked stories of the game. Him versus Lilia is quite the show, especially with the Trey and Rook commentary as if Leona and Lilia are competing in the world cup.

I mentioned Ruggie being the best parts of Leona's cards a few times, but I can't pick a favorite Ruggie vignette because all of them are soooooooooo good. I suppose I am a bigger fan of his Alchemy uniform story because he's admiring his dormmates while doing their laundry. These stories also remind me that he's kinda a little shit sometimes, but he's just too adorable to ignore. Also, I can't leave this post without mentioning Grammy Bucchi for his birthday.

Silver's a fine character, but I don't know much about him to make any decisions. However, the only reason I love Silver's Ceremony Robes card is when Idia goes, "SILVER! WHY ARE YOU DEAD IN THE COURTYARD?" Oh, Idia, I know you mean well, but that was very off-color.

I also can't pick a favorite for Azul's cards. The Ceremony Robe story has him and Jade torturing the ick out of Floyd. The gym card has Azul blackmailing Jamil to help him with his flight classes. Then, the alchemy uniform as Azul blackmails Grim to doing a dangerous procedure on Ortho, so Grim can get a can of tuna fish afterwards. He's such a bastard, but I love this crybaby bastard, especially if it's at Vil's, Jamil's, and Grim's expenses.

Lastly, my only favorite Kalim card, which is the most recent cooking card. His interaction with Ruggie in the second half is hysterical. Ruggie: "IT'S TOO HOT AND TOO MUCH, BUT I WILL EAT THIS AT ALL COSTS BECAUSE I'M POOR!" Kalim's reaction to trying to make Ruggie happy is one of the most innocent moments because he's trying his little best!
