Guys, I've been reading a lot of posts from TM fans about the show, on here, on Facebook, wherever - and while sure not everybody loves the new series, the reception trends mostly positive and a lot of fans and non-fans are really excited about a possible season 2.

Think about it. Look at what is happening - it's 2023 and there is a LIVE ACTION TWISTED METAL TV SERIES that is not complete and utter garbage? That has real talent behind it? Go back in time to 1996 and tell me as a kid playing TM2 that one day this would happen, I'd never believe you.

We have to make this show a success. For the future not only of this TV series, but of the franchise. A lot of us have complained that TM has been a dormant franchise for 10 years, but now it's roaring back to life and even if you dislike the show, its success means the success of Twisted Metal, and can give it life through different forms in the future.

If you love the show, be vocal about it. Post on Peacock's social media channels. Share and retweet their stuff. Encourage others to subscribe.

Peacock is a business. They are looking at Twisted Metal and seeing if it grows their subscriber base - if it does, they'll renew it. You have to speak in a language they'll understand, and put yourself in the shoes of Peacock execs debating whether or not to renew the show for season 2.

With the writer's strike ongoing, it might be awhile before things move forward - but we should all step up, tell your friends to subscribe and watch, have a buddy who might like the show? Gift them a subscription for their birthday or something, download the games on the PS Store (as Sony is no doubt watching how many units of the old games they're moving too) - if you're outside of the U.S., watch the show on whatever streaming service gets distribution rights (it's Paramount here in Canada) and let's all show Twisted Metal - in all its forms - some love.
