Here's a thought, in the world of the Twisted Metal TV series... do you think Y2K actually, hilariously, did end up causing the end of the world like a lot of folks predicted back at the turn of the century? From the trailer, I wonder if they are hinting at the sort of collapse of civilization, frozen in time...

The "Steal My Sunshine" song came out in 1999, and the older model Subaru that Roadkill is based on looks to be a 2000 version, which would have been the newest model available in 1999. Even Sweet Tooth looks to be based on an older model cube van.

Anyway, wondering if I'm on to something and want to get it down on paper in case I'm right when the series premieres in two months!
