Letâs start off by addressing the naysayers who like to argue that squirting is just pee.
âA recent study claims itâs urine, but the study only had seven participants and about as many problems with its methodology. Other researchers say the fluid is generated from the Skeneâs glands, which is the female equivalent of the prostateâ (Vanessa Marin).
The best thing you can do to support your squirting endeavors is exercise your PC muscles, commonly known as your âkegels.â. These muscles wrap around the pelvis, and have been associated with increased chances of reaching orgasm, stronger orgasms, and squirting. You can find your PC muscles the next time youâre urinating. Cut off your flow before your bladder is empty. Youâll probably feel a âpulling upâ sensation. Once youâre off the pot, try pulling these muscles up and gently releasing them. Repeat that 30 times daily.
Also: any time youâre going to try to squirt, pee immediately beforehand. The type of stimulation you need to squirt often creates a sensation of having to urinate. If youâre confident that your bladder is empty, youâll be able to relax and enjoy the sensation more. If youâre practicing solo, you can always hang out in the bathtub. If the need to urinate ever feels overwhelming, you can just go ahead and let it rip without having to worry about making a mess. If youâre on the bed, you can put down a towel or two to protect your sheets (you may need to invest in a mattress protector if you discover that youâre a prolific squirter!). But again, thereâs no reason to be ashamed!
â˘Bonus Information⢠(for my inquisitive friends)
The g-spot, also known as the Gräfenberg spot (for the gynecologist who discovered it), is a spongy, slightly bulbous spot at the top of the vagina. Itâs similar to the male prostate in that when stimulated, it can produce a powerful, whole-body orgasm. One thing often misunderstood is that the g-spot is not its own freestanding structure. Itâs actually part of the clitoris. Youâre likely familiar with the clitoris as the small, nubby structure at the very opening of your partnerâs vulva. The clitoris has millions of nerve endings which makes it a great spot to tickle and massage to bring her to an intense orgasm. But the clitoris on you see on the outside is only a small part of the structure. The rest of the clitoral structure is hidden within the female anatomy, and a part of that even extends to the vagina.
