Can Quileute people color their hair?

So I’m writing a FanFiction where Leah and Bella are friends at a young age. I remember back when I was a kid, my friend and I would dye pieces of our hair with Kool-Aid.
Would this be something someone of the Quileute people could do? Or would it be against their traditions and practices? I know there was a lot of uproar about SM’s choice of the wolf pack cutting their hair, so I just want to be cautious.
