Why make such a horrid character the main? She's unrelatable, immature, rude, bratty, entitled, and extremely conceited. She can't seem to see outside of her little bubble, and everything that goes wrong for her is EVERYONE else's fault.
Also, why does she hate her mother so much? Thus far the storyline has expressed the full extent to which Georgia will go to protect her children, and yet, despite it all being right there in front of her, Ginny can't seem to realize how much her mom is trying.
She makes rash decisions without thinking. Portrays herself as oppressed despite clearly only playing the race card when pushed into a corner. It's ridiculous.
The unstable home excuse isn't cutting it for me. I've experienced the vast majority of problems she's dealt with as a teen (and more) and I've never thought once to handle it as such.
She's a horrible friend, a terrible character, and lacks depth and the wisdom she so boldly assumes she has. Why was she written this way? It's offputting and extremely frustrating. Idk if I'm gonna watch season 3, I've mainly stuck with the show thus far because of everyone else.
