Hey there. I'm looking to fly to and Panama and deciding between AF and TK. TK has a much better fare (2200€ return vs 2700€ on AF), however I previously read about them applying the "coffin flight" policy when windows are locked dark throughout the flight. This would be 13:30 departure from IST and 19:15 arrival to Panama so a full daytime flight, and the daylight will be quite crucial to deal with the jetlag.

Do we have anyone on this subreddit who travels on TK to South/Central America and can report on their experience with this? I prefer TK's product and it would save me quite a bit of money, but spending 13 hours in dark would not be worth it.
