This will be my third international city for American thanksgiving (I went to Paris in 2017 and Tokyo in 2019). I make it a goal to visit global city in a different country every odd year during that holiday (because killing native Americans and the cuisine of thanksgiving isnโt something Iโm interested in).
Iโm still deciding on a good Airbnb in Istanbul but was considering taking a day trip to either Cappadocia or Seven Lakes.
To make a good decision I guess the factors of each are the quality of scenery.
For Cappadocia I would take a day trip flying in and out hoping to see the whole hot air balloon view where as the Seven Lakes I would want to view the foliage colors.
I think Cappadocia would be more expensive but more iconic where the Seven Lakes would be more beautiful in nostalgic way (if that leafs are still near peak color).
What do you think?
