I understand this subreddit isnβt all English speakers I do want to ask a question on Turkeys infrastructure as well.
Since this happened in relatively lower income area of the country and between two fault lines, would you say that the government could have prevented many of the deaths?
It is heartbreaking to see the amount of deaths in this event. I have a few people on social media who live in Istanbul that have been donating resources from the west side of the country to the east. I wish as an American I could do more. You are within my thoughts and prayers.
