What does it mean if my tg16 colors are off?

Hey there I recently picked up a second tg16 system with turbo booster. I decided since it had been a while since I powered on my childhood tg16 that I should give it a shot. I started noticing colors being off from what I remembered. Played Keith courage and noticed the gold coins were red, the multicolored rainbow when you beam up only had like purple and gray and a few others. I tested it with rf and with the turbo booster and the result was the same. What is this problem? Caps? Dusty? How can it be fixed?
