The Church of Pick a tax exempt 501c3 organization

From the first book of the Great Hatching. First there was the dark void endless and cast iron. Then came the Ovipositor and the great Egg. The cast iron void was jealous of the Egg and sought to destroy it. It threw the Egg against the great bowl, cracking the egg and spilling forth the milky white, and yolky sun. From this all of creation was born. As the white and yolk spread in the pan. The void realized its could not stop the great spreading, or the sunny side up-ness. It wailed in anger.

1. When PICO ventured to the stars, the most noble Pico, Tawaki, came across two monkeys. Tawaki, guided the two monkeys to a round stone. There Tawaki showed the monkeys how to shape the stone, how to cut the stone. At first the monkey listened with care and they prospered. They learned how to walk on two feet in the style of Pico. They learned to fish by the shores as if a Pico. Soon the monkeys multiplied, stood upright, and learned to maintain the land. They were grateful to Tawaki and the Pico.

2. Soon the monkeys grew tall, their tails shrank, and they lost the hair of the animals. PICO showed them how to cloth themselves and again the people were grateful to PICO. They brought offering of fish and grain to Tawaki as thanks. For their kindness Pico showed them fire and tool. And again the people prospered as there was plenty for all.

3. From this prosperity the monkeys became more numerous, they took the learnings of Tawaki and built great ships to explore their world. Soon forgetting their homeland. They grew arrogant in their knowledge. few remembered to bring offerings of grain and fish to Tawaki, fewer sought his wisdom. Until one day, no one came to thank the Pico or ask his wisdom. Tawaki, hurt by the forgetfulness of the monkey, Pico left.

4. In time the monkeys forgot the prosperity and joy of PICO. They became jealous of each other. Greed overtook the Monkeys and they turned on each other, forgetting the peace of pico, and the love of pico. The monkey continued advancing their knowledge along with their un-PICO ways. The monkey harnessed the energy of fire to make steel, and then steel, to make war. Then the monkey went to the stars.

5. The spirit of Tawaki age-ed and wiser had chosen to live amongst the stars. He had not forgotten his days amongst the monkeys. While the monkeys had left the peaceful and wise spirit of PICO far behind, Tawaki still loved the hairless monkeys, despite their forgetfulness. To guide his beloved hairless monkeys in the dangerous cast iron void he divided his spirit into the great PICO totems. Made from the polymer, metal, stone, and tools Tawaki had blessed the monkeys with eons ago in the great cracking. Each totem would guide the hairless monkeys to prosperity and space-jazz cabbage amongst the stars. It is said any ship keeping a blessed PICO totem upon its bridge shall travel in safety, peace, and chill vibes. But woe to any, who holding a PICO totem, choose to deal in dishonesty, death, or deceit for they will die at the edge of the great cast iron, cold, sober, and alone.
