I am not a tulpamancer but my question IS about Tulpas. An ex internet friend of mine [F, 26] confessed me that she "created imaginary friends". I have explained to her what a Tulpa is and she was unsure if they really exist or it only happened in her mind. I was unable to clarify it, but some things were baffling to me: one of her... emulations was 20 years older than her (my age) and he came from the same country as I, but a different city. He was acting and talking exactly like what he was supposed to be and knew cultural details a 20 yo girl from abroad couldn't possibly know. She said her "friends" were invisible but she felt their presence, they had moods and sometimes were sick. Some even exchanged dialogues with me (like "tell him that I said..."). Also they were hungry and eating - they used to "duplicate" what she bought to eat for herself ("I don't know how they do this trick"). I don't communicate with this girl anymore since we unfriended for complex reasons. But when we last talked, she had four "guys" with her. Could you, by your experience, tell me if to you they were Tulpas? Thank you.
