I wasn't going to originally make this post, but seeing as i'm not the only one to have noticed (/u/BobisOnlyBob in particular) i think it needs to be addressed.

So, There's been a lot of posts from newbies today. We must have been linked somewhere.

If anyone finds the source, be sure to comment it, i'll edit this post to incorporate it (with credit to the person too, if need be). I'd just like to find out what's going on, i'm sure others would, too.

Edit: It could maybe be something to do with /r/occult, as suggested by /u/CambrianCrew. Tulpas are supposedly mentioned a lot on there, however. It's maybe just a random uptick, which is fine, i was just curious if we were put out there by a singular source or not, but that's becoming less likely.
