In Arcueid's routes, after SHIKI is killed, Arcueid's mission is over and she gets her power back from Roa. In the Ciel route, after SHIKI is killed, because of the soul link connection between Shiki and SHIKI (which I'm sure is fully explained on Far Side), Roa's soul is able to transfer to Shiki and takes him over. Why didn't Roa transfer and take over in Arcueid's route? Arcueid getting her power back implies Roa's soul was destroyed when Shiki killed SHIKI, so do I have it correct that in Ciel's route, Roa takes over Shiki because SHIKI wasn't directly killed by Shiki and his eyes but Arcueid who showed up? Thanks for the help in advance, just wanted to make sure I understood things correctly!

I'm looking forward to the Far Side routes. I can't imagine things get more horrifying than the stuff that happens in the Near Side routes, but I've heard that's the case.
