I am a queer woman about to try their first IUI cycle- 32 y.o. As far as I know, no fertility issues. I am older than my wife so I will be going first. I've only gone in for monitoring, but we will be doing our first cycle at the end of this week, or early next week. I'm so scared it won't work and the entire process is very daunting and expensive. Any advice on ways of calming down? I'm a very anxious person by nature, and I lost my job due to Covid, so it has been a lot of sitting around, which only heightens my fears that it may not work. Plus the job loss means we don't have limitless means to keep trying should it not work. I've been going to acupuncture and take prenatal vitamins, am journaling to try and stay calm. Am in a healthy weight range and generally healthy person? Any advice you have would be duly appreciated!!
