An old friend reached out to hang out...she later cancelled that hangout with a pic of a pregnancy test....
Post Body

Yup. An old friend whom I haven't seen in years reached out when she realized that we were both living the in the same city. We started group chat with another person who we were close to like 5 years ago and started making plans to meet up. Last night, she texted a picture of a positive pregnancy test and a message that said, "Looks like I might need to reschedule".

I just hate everything about this right now. I don't have the mental strength to respond (I left her on read). I'm afraid now, that if we do meet up she is going to talk heavily about her pregnancy since she was comfortable to enough to send us a pic of the test that she obviously just now took. I just can't deal with it. I just has an HSG procedure done last week and have more scans scheduled for this week. I don't want to hear from someone I last spoke to years and years ago about how excited she is for her first child. I just can't.
