Starting my fertility treatment journey while student teaching
Post Body

So, I am starting my student teaching in the fall. This is a full time unpaid job, plus three night school classes.

I am also starting some long awaited fertility treatments. It has taken 6 months to get this initial appointment that is scheduled for September 1st and you guys know how it goes. I have to do bloodwork and have certain procedures done on certain days of my cycle. Not much room for negotiation there. At the same time, I am required to teach a certain number of months as a student teacher to graduate and get my credential. I have no idea if me taking time off for doctor's appointments might prevent me from graduating. I'm anxious and scared. Every day that is closer to September, the knot in my stomach gets tighter and tighter. I don't want to put off my appointments and I don't want to put off my schooling either. I honestly don't know what to do. Has anyone had any type of experience like this? Where work and your trying to conceive were clashing? I would appreciate some words on comfort, honestly. Anyways, I just needed to put these feelings out there in the world. Thanks guys.
