Question for anyone who has cut out alcohol, caffeine, prescription meds, allergy medicine, certain beauty products, stress (please tell me your secrets), certain supplements, certain foods, etc., or has started taking or eating certain things, supplements, etc., what did you stop or start and how did you come to your decision?
We’re 28 and 33. Been trying for 6 ish months/6 ish cycles. No fertility issues as far as we know. Haven’t been on BC in like 4 years. I have pretty regular 26 ish day cycles. Always get positive OPKs. Pretty sure I ovulate based on temps (use the Ava bracelet). I have ADD and take 40 mg vyvanse. Generally high strung and anxious, but I’m a type-A attorney, so that is what it is. I have coffee every morning and have a glass of wine here and there during the week. I had mono for much of 2019, but am better as far as I know. We’ve been legit trying. Using OPKs, getting the timing right, temping, soft cups...I’ll try anything for at least one cycle.
My doctor won’t do any testing until one year, so we’re just out here trying until then. BUT, I’m pretty stubborn, and if I’m being honest, feeling like I did my best/everything I could during this one year is important to me. I’m starting to consider certain lifestyle changes, but my type-A self is terrible at doing anything in moderation....I’m ready to stage a protest against my uterus and go vegan and grow my own herbs to make my own skincare products.
