Questions about a few things.
Post Body

I'm new here so sorry if I'm not great with the terms. I suppose I'll introduce myself. DH and I have been married for just over a month and a half, together for almost 6 years. Not really trying all the way yet since we have some debts we want to pay off first but we're not being that cautious I guess you could say. Whatever happens, happens.

I have been on birth control for 5 years now because my periods are god awful without it. It is our only form of protection at the moment. I missed a pill in the first week of the pills for this cycle. Which was two weeks ago. Other than that miss, I have taken the pill everyday at the same time each day. Fast forward to today and I had blood(pinkish) on the toilet paper when I wiped. My period isn't due until next weekend. I had some pretty severe cramps two days ago that felt a lot like my menstrual cramps.

Could this be implantation bleeding from that long ago? Or maybe the birth control wasn't all the way effective... I don't what what it could be. I don't really feel any different, not that that means anything. I guess I'm just looking for an idea of what could be happening. DH is going to pick up a test today on his way home though so I planned to test just to be sure.

Thanks in advance for your input.

EDIT: Just took a test and it was a BFN but it says it is good 5 days before a missed period and mine shouldn't be here for another 9 days. I'll test closer to the date, I guess.
