Dr. Anthony Fauci dedicated his life to public service. He helped lead an American and international effort that helped save the lives of millions of Americans. Politicians on the right have targeted him unfairly; now Trump pulled his security detail out of spite, not to balance the budget. Dr. Fauci and his family have received legitimate threats and he needs security. This money would be a donation to support Dr. Fauci and his families security in recognition of his many years of service.

I hope you will contribute to this fund. This fundraiser has zero affiliation with Dr. Fauci, but a boatload of gratitude for a good man who’s been dragged through the mud.

If Dr. Fauci were to turn down the funds, they would be donated to a charity of Dr. Fauci’s choice. In lieu of any choice by Fauci, it would go to a top U.S. academic research center in infectious diseases, in Dr. Fauci’s name.
