I had opened a checking account a month or so ago and have already changed my direct deposit information for social security disability, which is SUPPOSED to hit on June 12. My online access was restricted on Truist today and I wasn't sure why exactly. Apparently the executive office folks closed my account and are mailing me a check for the funds in my account? Wow. I have all of my Wells Fargo accounts linked and apparently Truist doesn't want the $70,000 money market account that I have at Wells Fargo and was going to move over. I am beyond offended, disappointed, shocked, taken back, pissed, all of the above. Truist is garbage.
