So I do not have a bank account personally with Truist but my employer who writes his checks to me is from written from Truist so sometimes I take my checks there to deposit, so I’m able to get them for cash. I have a bs bank and I usually don’t do mobile deposits because I hate the wait but for the first time I was like screw it why not. The bank I bank with is called current. Did my mobile deposit on Friday and did not get accepted or rejected at all. Monday comes around I think around 2 PM still no rejection or acceptance so I just go to the bank and I go try to deposit it there. I told them I tried to deposit it on the phone already but I didn’t get accepted or rejected so I don’t know what’s going on with it and showed them as well and they deposited the check for me right then & there at the bank. now I’m driving home leaving from the bank I get the acceptance notification on my phone!! so I text my bank and I tell them hey can you cancel it They told me since the check is already been accepted They can no longer cancel it and I told them the situation they told me just wait later they told me since the check is already been accepting there is nothing they can do. I told them the situation they told me just wait the system will catch the error. A month past the current account closes. I just want to figure out if my name is clean with Truist I’ve already contacted current bank just waiting for a response. What should I do for truist?
