I know a lot of the music industry nowadays is artificial and every song is basically a project made by multiple different people, but industry plants(i.e. an artist who appears to be self-made or independent, but is actually backed by a major or independent label) are completely artificial. Their songs aren't even produced or written by them they only perform them and i feel that heavily takes away from the artistic background of music as a whole.
