A pedophile is someone who is attracted to children, it doesn't automatically mean they are rapists or child molesters but it does mean they are capable of it if they don't get the aid they need.
For the most part, people don't choose to be pedophiles they don't choose to have a never ending longing for children despite knowing it's wrong and disgusting, so blaming them for something they cannot control is like blaming someone for Low IQ, or ADHD that causes violent tendencies, what pedophiles would do better with us medication and therapy instead of being treated like monsters who chose their desires.
You really overestimate our ability to medicate any kind of sexual inclination.
