It's incredibly hypocritical, to ask the current president, Joe Biden, to step down come November, when we are about a little over 3 months away from the next US presidential election. If the democrats had a problem with Biden, they should have addressed this issue with him, not months ago, but years ago.
I mean, IIRC, I thought Biden was going to be a "transition" president. The idea was that he would serve for one term and allow a new democrat nominee for the 47th presidential candidacy. Did nobody follow up with Biden about this in 2022? or 2023? Or the beginning of this year? Did they all forget?
Even if they could manage to persuade Biden to step down and get a "better" candidate, there's no way that candidate could make an impression on the American people within 3 months. The media, political class and our courtrooms have been too busy focusing on the orange man's faults and we all know what a circus show that has turned into.
Focusing on a potential "replacement" for the democrats, now would be a really bad move. They're essentially admitting that Biden will not be able to defeat Trump in the November elections. And that they need a replacement. This is unacceptable and feels like 2016 all over again.
If republicans can stick by their candidate through thin and thick, why can't the democrats do the same?
The party of democracy....has a vote where a guy wins 99% of the vote...and they go with someone else lol
