We are not mature enough for shorts and pants.
The reason for this is because we are enhancing our natural features that draws attraction from the opposite sex but at the same time we are shunning people for naturally reacting to these visal enhancements. For instance, a guy is wearing sweats and his junk is just swinging. A woman looks and she's a perve. Same with women in leggings. She rocks a thong and puts on leggings then bends over counters and switches but when men look, we're pervs.
What this does is place a psychological seed in us that effects us in a big way without us realizing it. Have you ever caught yourself socially avoiding certain things just for others to see that you are trustworthy. Like avoiding looking at women with leggings and miniskirts, or avoiding checking out a guy's muscles so it makes it seem like you're not some sick freak?
That's a psychological effect of self-guilt. Self-guilt can lead to depression, anxiety, and paranoia. Wonder why anxiety is sky high the more sexual the culture gets? The truth is that it is not your fault. The clothes out now are made by designers who lust after the body's features and all the clothing is essentially made to be sexual in nature.
When you look at jeans, they were originally made for prisoners and hard workers. They are warm and designed to rub against rough surfaces. Leather was to keep warm and protect us, which is why bikers wear leather, in case they fall. Warriors had leather armor. So, why have the waistlines been shrunken and creases added where the butt is? Why did they remove pockets in women's pants?
It's to exaggerate the features.
So when you are reacting to what you see, it is not your fault. You are not a perve. You horniness is designed to act that way. I'm not saying not to have self-control, I'm saying fashion leads people down this self-guilt path and it creates unnecessary social anxiety.
It's not just for the people looking! I've seen women out at the store coming from events, in barely anything. They are fine until they see kids, families, an older woman in the store or a handsome cleancut guy. They cover up by crossing their arms and hide their backsides against a wall. Why do you need to put yourself through that?
Fashion also influences what people lust after depending on the country. Why are backs considered sexy in Japan? What did men wear? A man's Haori goes on his back like a huge towel and covers him, exaggerating his back's size.
Why were breast a craze in Europe? Because their dresses covered a woman's full body but the breast area that was left perked up and revealed cleavage.
We are not ready for high fashion, and we never truly will be.
Drapes for everyone. Cover TF up. Besides, it's way warmer. It also blocks sun. Win-Win.
